I am getting ready to plan a trip. I'm very excited because I haven't had a vacation in a very, very long time. I think part of the fun in planning a trip someplace is the planning of the trip and of the trip itself. Of course,mine actual act of getting away is fun too. I love to travel. I was watching a piece on the Olympics and they showed the trans Siberian railway. So very cool! I would love to go to Russia and see that some time. I would never thought I would like to visit Russia, but after watching that and other stories on the country, it truly looks like a beautiful country. That's what is so amazing about travel, you get to go to a country and you get to see for yourself the landscape, the food and the culture. Of course, sometimes, just another part of the US can seem very different from California! I love chatting with you all about where you live. I will keep posted on where I decide to go on my trip! It will be someplace in California but I'm not sure if it will be one of my old favorites or I'm going to try a new place.
